Sudbury Soils Study:
Human Health Risk Assessment

Public Comment Period
May 19 to November 1, 2008

The Technical Committee overseeing the Sudbury Soils Study released Volume 2: Human Health Risk Assessment (HHRA) to the public at three local information sessions held May 13, 14 and 15, 2008.

Members of the public are invited to review the HHRA report and submit written comments during the Public Comment Period: May 19, 2008, to November 1, 2008.

The complete HHRA Technical Report and copies of the Summary Report are available for public review at all public libraries in the Greater Sudbury area, and can be viewed online at www.sudburysoilsstudy.com. Requests for additional printed copies of the Summary Report may be made by phone: 1-866-315-0228.

The authors of the study will review all comments submitted during this period. To receive a published response, all comments must be relevant to the contents of the HHRA Report, and must be submitted in writing before 11:59 pm on November 1, 2008, accompanied by the name, address and phone number of the individual submitting the comment(s). Responses to relevant public comments will be published as an Appendix to the final HHRA Report.
